William Hurt and Academy Award® winner Marlee Matlin light up the screen
as John Leeds and Sarah Norman, two strong-willed people who discover that
real love needs no words. John teaches at a school for the deaf. Sarah used
to be the school's brightest student, though the refused to read lips, and
is now employed as a custodian. John immediately falls for the beautiful and
stubborn Sarah, but soon realizes he must get past her anger in order to
